Quantum safety has been up-prioritized in latest updates, Vitalik Buterin notes
Roadmap updated for 2023 Strawmap overlap

Vitalik Buterin, co-founder at Ethereum, shared that his 2023 roadmap diagram has been updated to show the positions of previous items within the current Strawmap.

He highlighted a significant overlap but noted that some elements, such as quantum safety, have been given higher priority, while others have been deprioritized. Some items have also been reshuffled in order.

Buterin has previously published a second part of his series on cryptographic obfuscation protocols, focusing on diamond iO. The discussion followed his continued involvement in Ethereum roadmap updates. These prior technical explorations provide context for the latest changes outlined in the Strawmap.
