Simon Taylor, co-founder at 11:FS, points out that a recent job advertisement at Anthropic has been framed as a threat to Stripe.

Taylor notes that despite speculation, Anthropic's own posting indicates it will continue to rely heavily on Stripe while hiring for roles to develop internal billing, fraud, and treasury systems.

Taylor has previously examined fintech sector developments, recently highlighting Revolut's launch of its EURR euro stablecoin issued by Bridge. He also commented on the introduction of the euro stablecoin as a move at the intersection of fintech and digital assets in a separate analysis of Revolut's stablecoin rollout. Taylor continues to monitor firms pursuing in-house solutions alongside established partners.
