Brent oil approaches $100 after attacks

Joe Weisenthal, executive editor of news for Bloomberg Digital at Bloomberg L.P., reports that Brent oil approached $100 a barrel after attacks halted operations at several energy facilities in the south of Saudi Arabia.

The rise in oil prices follows the disruption to Saudi energy infrastructure.

Weisenthal has previously reported on investor activity in the energy sector. He noted that $400 million was committed to the planned IPO of Dangote Petroleum Refinery & Petrochemicals FZE. In another report, he covered a 6.2% rise in Scotts Miracle-Gro shares following public support from former President Donald Trump.
