Sub-20% growth should get 10-30x EBIDTA multiples, Gokul Rajaram argues
ARR multiple not right for low growth

Gokul Rajaram challenges the validity of using ARR multiples for valuing companies with revenue growth under 20 percent.

He offers a simple framework, stating that such companies should receive 10-30x EBIDTA or free cash flow multiples. Using this metric, Rajaram believes Miro is fairly valued by Bending Spoons. Only firms with growth rates above 30 percent should command higher multiples, he adds.

Rajaram was recently involved as Marathon MP co-led Wafer’s $40 million Series A funding alongside Chemistry and several notable investors. He has also noted that Applied Intuition, led by Qasar Younis, currently holds a $15 billion valuation in the autonomy sector. These previous comments reflect Rajaram’s ongoing engagement in valuation and investment discussions across the tech industry.
