Richard Tice: U.K. production and construction decline in latest GDP figures
U.K. GDP shows sector declines

Richard Tice reports that recent U.K. GDP figures show worrying trends in key sectors.

According to Tice, production and construction both fell by 0.5% over the last three months. Over a twelve-month period, production managed only a 0.5% increase, while construction declined by 2.3%.

Tice has recently reported that 30,000 landlords have sold properties following rent reforms, leading to supply shortages and higher rents (link). He has also warned that £200bn in net zero grid upgrades could sharply increase consumer energy bills and deepen industry divides (link). These developments come alongside the latest data on the U.K. economy’s production and construction sectors.
