Strategy repurchases STRC and holds BTC

Michael Saylor announced that Strategy has repurchased $139 million of STRC. As of September 13, 2026, the firm holds 845,050 BTC and $6.4 billion in USD assets.

The update also included the current holdings of BTC and U.S. dollar-denominated assets.

Strategy previously acquired 4,603 BTC for $370 million and repurchased $152 million in STRC as of August 30, 2026, according to an earlier update by Michael Saylor (/news/market-voices/show/3164692-strategy-buys-btc-assets/). At that time, the firm reported total assets of $6.71 billion. Saylor has also described Bitcoin as an open global reserve asset with absolute scarcity (/news/market-voices/show/3318012-bitcoin-open-reserve-asset/).
