Crypto collateral expands via Coinbase and Aave

Frank Chaparro reports that collateral options are expanding in the crypto sector. Coinbase’s tokenized stocks are now accepted as collateral for USDC loans on Aave V4, while users can also use assets such as HYPE and ZEC as collateral for loans through Morpho in the Coinbase app.

Chaparro previously shared views from the Digital Chamber’s Convergence Forum that stablecoins could increase tenfold as onchain volumes climb, according to one report. In a separate article, he reported Robinhood’s move into IPO underwriting through Oura, noting potential changes in retail access to new listings (full story). These developments add further context to the ongoing diversification of digital asset products.
