Tesla gets SEC approval for retail voting initiative, Vlad Tenev states
SEC approves Tesla shareholder voting

Vlad Tenev, co-founder & CEO at Robinhood, reported that the SEC has issued a no-action letter to Tesla, allowing a new voting program for retail investors.

Tenev emphasized that broad share ownership in public companies should make it easier for retail investors to participate in voting.

Tenev previously noted that stock tokens remain inaccessible to U.S. persons and face restrictions in Canada, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. He has also discussed how tokenization could open U.S. financial assets to a global audience. These comments reflect ongoing efforts to widen participation in equity ownership and governance.
