Morgan Stanley shuts Calvert Diversity Equity and Inclusion ETF, Eric Balchunas notes
Morgan Stanley closes Calvert ESG ETF

Eric Balchunas, senior ETF analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence, reports that Morgan Stanley is closing the Calvert Diversity, Equity and Inclusion ETF (CDEI), another ESG-focused fund to be shuttered.

He also mentions a personal note about helping his son prepare for a U.S. history exam, where Calvert was discussed as the founder of Maryland in 1632.

Balchunas has previously reported that IBIT has narrowly outperformed VOO since inception, with a more volatile performance path detailed in one of his recent analyses. He also observed that SPY trading volume stayed below $60 billion for 50 days, as noted in a separate report. These filings highlight his close tracking of ETF market performance and trading activity.
