U.S. Treasury yields reach 24-year highs

Scott Melker, owner and content creator, reports that the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield rose to 5.364% and the 30-year yield climbed to 5.669%, both marking new 24-year highs.

The surge came ahead of a $39 billion 10-year note auction, where the securities were priced at 5.3%, the highest yield for a 10-year auction since November 2000. Melker adds that demand during the auction remained strong even as the rally faded.

Melker previously reported that Arbitrum reached 7,083 tokenized real-world assets, distributing over $1.03 billion in value. He also covered Solana’s Alpenglow testnet protocol upgrade, designed to achieve 150 millisecond transaction finality. These updates follow his coverage of major developments in blockchain and digital asset markets.
