Eric Balchunas: Corgi aims to become Wal-Mart of ETFs with expansion plans
Corgi targets Wal-Mart status in ETFs

Eric Balchunas, senior ETF analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence, reports that Corgi is pursuing a strategy to become the Wal-Mart of ETFs.

Balchunas notes that Corgi recently recruited Jeff Weniger from WisdomTree and is implementing a 'flood the zone' approach focused on core ETF offerings, technology, and unique company culture—including cafes and dogs.

Balchunas has previously tracked notable investor flows in ETFs. He reported that investors continued to add money to TLT despite ongoing declines. He also noted that the Brazil ETF EWZ posted a record $700 million one-day inflow.
