Sui devnet to launch post-quantum accounts

Adeniyi Abiodun, co-founder and chief product officer at Mysten Labs, the company behind the Sui blockchain, announced that post-quantum accounts will go live on the Sui devnet next Monday.

He indicated that this initiative is focused on protecting users' funds against emerging threats and noted that the project is well ahead of schedule.

Earlier this year, Abiodun outlined Sui’s push for capital efficiency in global markets, highlighting developments such as DeepBook in a previous update. He also previewed major announcements planned for the second day of SuiBasecamp following a strong opening. These initiatives reflect Mysten Labs’ continued drive to expand Sui’s technical and market capabilities.
