Richard Byworth: Swiss Post Office bitcoin card charges 12 percent fee on purchase
Swiss bitcoin card fee raises concern

Richard Byworth, former CEO at Diginex / Eqonex, shared his analysis of a bitcoin purchase made using a prepaid card available at Swiss Post Office branches. Byworth calculated that on a CHF500 card, the buyer was charged a 12 percent fee for acquiring BTC.

He identified CryptoNow as the company providing the card and advised avoiding its services in favor of another provider he named, relai_app.

Byworth previously predicted a new crypto all-time high this year, a view that drew criticism and matched the outlook of another macro analyst, according to a past report. In another analysis, he advised Germans to stockpile bitcoin within three months and stressed the need for timely information sharing, as reported earlier. These comments demonstrate Byworth's ongoing engagement with the European crypto market.
