Bybit adds U.S. stocks and ETFs

Ben Zhou, co-founder and CEO at Bybit, announced the launch of stock trading on the Bybit platform.

More than 1,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs are now available for trading, with users able to access them through the same login they use for crypto and use USDC as the trading currency. Zhou pointed out that this move brings greater accessibility to financial markets, which have previously been divided across various products and platforms.

The announcement follows Bybit’s earlier strategy to build a unified platform combining trading, investing, payments, and AI, as outlined by Zhou in October platform updates. He also previously highlighted a partnership with Franklin Templeton, focused on easing institutional access to onchain yield-bearing assets. These steps signal the firm's intent to expand financial service offerings on a single interface.
