Institutions access onchain yield assets

Ben Zhou, co-founder and CEO at Bybit, announced a partnership with Franklin Templeton to simplify institutional access to regulated, yield-bearing assets onchain.

This initiative aims to improve capital efficiency and collateral flexibility for institutions, while granting onchain investors direct access to professionally managed opportunities.

Zhou previously outlined Bybit’s plan to expand beyond crypto trading in an earlier statement on its evolution into a financial platform. The company has introduced a range of additional services aimed at institutional and professional users. These steps align with Bybit’s ongoing efforts to diversify its offerings.
