Bybit granted VARA licence in Dubai

Bybit has secured a VARA licence for its international headquarters in Dubai, marking what the company describes as another step in building for the long term.

Ben Zhou, co-founder and CEO of Bybit, highlighted the importance of trust, compliance, and local commitment to the company’s operations in Dubai, where it established its headquarters in 2022.

Bybit recently expanded its offering to include trading for over 1,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs, enabling users to access both equities and crypto with USDC, as detailed in a previous launch. CEO Ben Zhou has also outlined plans for the firm to combine trading, investing, payments, and AI on one platform, according to statements made last October. These initiatives reflect Bybit's ongoing product development alongside its regulatory milestones in Dubai.
