TSMC lifts FY'26 outlook to 44 percent

TSMC issued a new revenue outlook for FY'26, projecting a 44 percent increase, up from its previous forecast of 40 percent.

Gary Black, managing partner and investor at The Future Fund, added that the company did not alleviate concerns regarding the long-term sustainability of the global AI buildout. He also noted that other chip stocks are trading lower in pre-market activity.

Earlier this year, U.S. stocks showed mixed pre-market moves as chip selloff continued, with Brent crude also falling after geopolitical tensions. Previously, Gary Black expressed doubt about the viability of a proposed Starbucks and Chipotle merger, citing insufficient brand overlap. These developments come as investors monitor company outlooks and sector performance.
