Crypto liquidations reach $1 billion as Bitcoin falls to $80,200, Fred Krueger notes
Bitcoin near $81,000 as liquidations top $1B

Bitcoin traded around $81,000, down 2% on the day, tagging approximately $80,200 overnight and coinciding with about $1 billion in crypto liquidations and $150.5 million in spot ETF outflows.

Fred Krueger, investor and crypto entrepreneur, posted the figures and noted that Luke Gromen issued a widely circulated warning about "paper bitcoin" and described digital credit expansion as the real debasement story.

Krueger previously highlighted Bitcoin near $83,100 after a 3.6% dip and noted sellers driving the move, with Strategy reporting a $21 billion Q3 gain in an earlier post. He also outlined potential upside scenarios, suggesting that a $20 billion purchase by Strategy could boost Bitcoin to $135,000, with further gains possible in a bull market, according to another recent summary. These observations build on Krueger’s continued tracking of major Bitcoin price developments.
