Crypto supports both individual privacy and organizational transparency, Erik Voorhees notes
Crypto combines privacy with transparency

Erik Voorhees, founder and CEO of Venice AI, described his view that one of crypto’s important contributions is providing relative privacy to individuals while also enabling transparency and verifiability of certain financial flows for companies and protocols.

Voorhees added that this dual capability reflects real transparency achieved through market-based, opt-in mechanisms.

Voorhees has previously expressed critical views on traditional finance structures. In an earlier commentary, he argued that holding government treasuries resembles the greater fool theory as continued dollar printing reduces bond value. His recent remarks on privacy and transparency in crypto build on this skepticism toward established financial systems.
