Schiff warns of overpriced gold dealers

Peter Schiff, CEO and Chief Global Strategist of Euro Pacific Capital, advised against purchasing gold or silver from companies promoted by well-known conservative talk show hosts or podcasters. Schiff argued that such companies overcharge customers to cover payments to celebrity promoters and often steer buyers toward overpriced collectible coins with questionable numismatic value.

Schiff has previously commented on major regulatory actions, including the $1.2 billion fine levied against Bank of America for anti-money-laundering violations. He has also argued that the prospects for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac returning to public markets are unrealistic, as their shares dropped nearly 80% from September 2025 highs, calling proposed IPOs a pipe dream. Schiff frequently discusses financial sector risks and regulatory developments.
