Lisk Chain will be shut down on Monday, November 2, with approximately 4 million LSK in remaining staking rewards to be burned.

Max Kordek, co-founder and CEO of Lisk, announced that after these steps, focus will shift fully to a new product.

Earlier this year, Onchain Foundation completed a buyback of 9,854,400 LSK tokens, according to statements from Max Kordek. Kordek had previously invited companies to consider integrating Lisk into their operations, emphasizing his openness to new opportunities for the project. These initiatives highlighted ongoing efforts to expand Lisk’s ecosystem.
