Viktor Bunin: Stablecoins face yield challenges despite regulatory efforts — Stablecoins yield persists after bill fails

Viktor Bunin, lead of protocol operations at Coinbase, pointed out that despite efforts to ban yield for holding stablecoins through legislation, the bill was ultimately defeated and stablecoins still provide yield. In his commentary, Bunin also noted there is zero evidence that stablecoins cause deposit flight, and he believes agents were more directly responsible for such effects.
