Sei team completes major migration

The engineering team at Sei successfully completed the biggest migration on the Sei network in years, maintaining perfect chain performance throughout the process. Jayendra Jog, co-founder and CEO of Sei Labs, expressed strong pride in the team's accomplishment and stated that he would not prefer any other group to be building Sei Giga.

Earlier this year, Jayendra Jog identified tokenized stocks and stablecoins as core components for onchain finance. Progress on Sei Giga is continuing, with targets of sub-250ms finality and 200,000 transactions per second throughput, according to Jog's earlier comments in prior project updates. These developments come as Sei Labs accelerates its infrastructure ambitions.
