Bitcoin under $80,000 as Schiff eyes $75,000

Bitcoin fell below the $80,000 mark, with Peter Schiff warning that $75,000 could be the next significant level if the current support does not hold.

Peter Schiff, CEO and Chief Global Strategist of Euro Pacific Capital, added that ETF investors could face difficulties selling until Monday if the price remains weak over the weekend.

Schiff previously commented after U.S. regulators fined Bank of America $1.2 billion for anti-money-laundering violations and unreported suspicious activity in an earlier case. He also recently pointed out that gold traded just below $4,000 as the stock market declined, seeing buying opportunities in both gold and silver in a separate market note. His market commentary has often accompanied periods of heightened price movement.
