Electrum wallets may face server risk

Francis Pouliot, CEO of Bull Bitcoin, stated that wallets using electrum backend may be vulnerable to a certain type of attack. He explained that in BULL wallet, users are only connected to 'trusted' electrum servers, including two operated by Bull Bitcoin and one by Blockstream, rather than random servers.

Pouliot has previously called attention to user security needs, stating that Bitcoin Core should prioritize a mnemonic backup feature in response to strong user demand. Earlier, he introduced the Orange Pill Challenge to encourage Costa Rican merchants to adopt Bitcoin. Both initiatives reflect his consistent advocacy for practical improvements in Bitcoin usage.
