Phil Rosen: S&P 500 turned $10,000 into $54,839 from 2005 to 2025 if best days held
S&P 500 returns drop if top days missed

$10,000 invested in the S&P 500 in 2005 would have grown to $54,839 by the end of 2025 if held throughout that period.

Phil Rosen stated that missing the 10 best days would have resulted in an ending balance of $24,417, while missing the 30 best days would leave $9,428.

Rosen has previously noted that the S&P 500 gained 118% in four years, a level matched by only two other bull markets in the last 70 years, according to a recent report (link). In a separate analysis, he reported that tech stocks are currently trading at unusually low valuations compared to the S&P 500 (link).
