ETFs provide cheaper, safer trading than crypto exchanges, Eric Balchunas writes
ETFs offer lower fees and protection

Eric Balchunas, a senior ETF analyst at Bloomberg Intelligence, described exchange-traded funds (ETFs) as the new crypto exchanges, highlighting their much lower trading fees and additional protections. He called ETFs both cheaper and safer compared to traditional crypto exchanges. Balchunas also mentioned that this is a key theme in his upcoming book, “Both Sides of the Coin.”

Balchunas has previously commented on ETF investor behavior, noting continued inflows into TLT despite declines in its price. He has also highlighted product launches, such as the REX Peptide ETF, which targets demand for weight loss drug exposure. These observations reflect his focus on ETF trends and investor strategies.
