Tether profit and reserves rise in Q3 2026

Tether released its quarterly USDT attestation for the third quarter of 2026, reporting approximately $1.5 billion in net operating profit for the period.

Paolo Ardoino, who identifies as Chief Executive Officer at Tether, noted that Tether’s reserve buffer nearly doubled to $7.95 billion from $4.1 billion at the end of Q2 2026.

Ardoino has previously described FASE as a Swiss not-for-profit foundation focused on financial inclusion and access to essential resources, according to past statements. He has also highlighted that tokenisation aims to help companies and entrepreneurs raise capital outside of traditional finance in earlier commentary reported in another article. These earlier positions offer additional context to Ardoino's current leadership role at Tether.
