Amplified Bitcoin trades similarly to Bitcoin when leverage demand increases, Joe Burnett notes
Amplified Bitcoin mirrors Bitcoin as leverage rises

Joe Burnett described that Amplified Bitcoin tends to trade similarly to Bitcoin, particularly when demand for leverage in the market rises. He pointed out that over the past ten years, this pattern has been evident on BitMEX and in the Bitcoin futures market, where futures often trade at a premium and funding rates increase during periods when Bitcoin's price is rising and leverage demand grows.

Burnett has previously commented on notable events impacting digital assets. He highlighted a reported $5.5 billion theft at Binance, which he described as potentially the largest in history. In a separate note, Burnett referenced the moment Strive surpassed Atlanta Braves Holdings in market capitalization, contrasting Strive's 30 employees with the Braves’ larger workforce.
