Railroad firms seek mergers to control prices, Matt Wallace notes
Railroad giants pursue merger for pricing

Several of the largest railroad companies are attempting to merge in an effort to create a near-monopoly, which could allow them to raise prices. Matt Wallace shared this assessment, noting that the grain from large fields still needs to be transported by rail and that such mergers could affect pricing.

Wallace has previously reported on supply chain pressures affecting the agricultural sector, including an Iowa farmer facing a $2 surge in diesel prices and a 25% rise in costs. In another recent update, he noted that Bitcoin traders now view a crash to $70,000 as more likely than a rally to $100,000 before 2027. These reports highlight concerns over both commodity transportation costs and digital asset price expectations.
