Coinbase for Agents allows agents to trade and pay on user behalf, Brian Armstrong says
Coinbase for Agents connects agents to accounts

Brian Armstrong, co-founder and chief executive officer of Coinbase, described Coinbase for Agents as the company's response to what he considers a growing need for agentic finance. Armstrong said that Coinbase for Agents enables users to connect agents to their account and let them trade and pay on their behalf.

Armstrong has previously provided instructions for users to connect through Coinbase's API and send feedback if they experience stuck financial transactions, according to a recent article. He also highlighted crypto's role in updating financial services on Base in another statement. These ongoing updates reflect his focus on platform functionality and service evolution.
