Meta, Google euro bonds rated above France

Euro-denominated bonds issued by Meta and Google are now rated higher than those of France. Simon Taylor, co-founder of 11:FS, observed that European savers are seeking more euro-denominated bonds than are currently available. He questioned whether solving this supply shortage could address the lack of AI data center and power infrastructure in Europe.

Simon Taylor has previously highlighted trends affecting the financial sector in Europe. He noted that consumer refund agents such as Muse and Instinct may cause higher sale costs in retailers' third-quarter financials here. Taylor also reported on Rain's launch of embedded stablecoin wallets and its filing with the OCC for a national trust bank here.
