Despite six years of Bitcoin buying, value trails average price, Peter Schiff argues
Strategy’s Bitcoin purchases lag performance

Strategy has been the largest buyer of Bitcoin worldwide over the past six years, but the current price is below its average acquisition cost.

Peter Schiff, CEO and Chief Global Strategist of Euro Pacific Capital, described this outcome as a loss for Michael Saylor and suggested that Strategy would have fared better investing in gold or the S&P.

Schiff has weighed in on other financial sector issues in recent years. He previously commented when U.S. regulators fined Bank of America $1.2 billion for anti-money-laundering violations. Schiff also stated that Puerto Rican regulators mishandled the liquidation of his bank.
