Strong earnings push Rolls-Royce shares to record high
Earnings strength drives shares to new highs.

Rolls-Royce shares reached a new all-time high following a strong first-half earnings report. Holding above GBX 1,510 would support further gains amid the company’s solid operating performance.

Investors continue to assess the company’s strong first-half results. Rolls-Royce raised its 2026 adjusted operating profit guidance to £4.7–4.9 billion and its free cash flow forecast to £3.8–4.0 billion.

In the first half, operating profit increased by 46%, while revenue rose by 24%, supporting positive sentiment and helping the shares reach a new record high.

Holding above GBX 1,510 keeps GBX 1,650 in focus

The scenario outlined in the previous analysis has materialized, with Rolls-Royce shares reaching a new all-time high of GBX 1,527.

The price is currently holding above GBX 1,510. A decisive close above this level is needed to confirm the continuation of the upward trend.

A return below GBX 1,510 would call the sustainability of the rally into question and increase the risk that the new high proves to be a false breakout, or a bull trap.

The medium-term target for RR shares remains the GBX 1,600–1,650 range.

Higher guidance supports the bullish outlook

The strong first-half results and upgraded financial guidance continue to support a favorable fundamental outlook for Rolls-Royce. Rising demand across civil aerospace, defense, and power systems continues to underpin the company’s operating performance.
