Snowflake stock reaches yearly high after Wells Fargo upgrade
Snowflake shares reached a new 52-week high following a sharp price-target increase from Wells Fargo and growing optimism around artificial intelligence. Holding above $300 would preserve the potential for further gains, although overbought conditions increase the risk of a short-term correction.
SNOW climbed to a 52-week high of $304.17 after Wells Fargo raised its price target from $320 to $500 and maintained an Overweight rating. Analysts believe that the growing adoption of AI agents is increasing customer spending on Snowflake’s platform and that the company could become one of the near-term beneficiaries of AI development without requiring significant capital expenditure or relying on any specific model.

Holding above $300 could open the way to $328
The bullish scenario outlined previously has fully materialized: Snowflake shares broke out of the $260–280 sideways range and reached a new yearly high of $304.17.The psychological $300 level is now the key threshold. A sustained hold above it would increase the probability of further gains toward $328, a level established in February 2022.
Otherwise, the shares could retreat toward $280. An additional negative factor is the RSI (14), which remains in overbought territory.
SNOW outperforms the tech sector
Snowflake continues to demonstrate relative strength compared with the broader technology sector. Despite pressure on many enterprise software companies, SNOW shares have gained more than 157% since the beginning of April and reached a new yearly high.In the short term, the stock continues to trade more resiliently and outperform the broader market. This supports the bullish scenario, although the overbought RSI increases the risk of a local correction.
