Tesla rebounds above key support as 50-day SMA comes into focus
Tesla reclaims $351.25 as buyers target the 50-day SMA.

Tesla stock has recovered above $351.25 after a sharp pullback toward $342, putting buyers back in control. Positive developments around Optimus and the autonomous-driving business are supporting the attempt to extend the recovery.

Tesla continues to convert former Model S/X production capacity in Fremont for humanoid robot manufacturing, with initial production processes already getting underway. The company is gradually building the infrastructure needed to scale Optimus production over time.

Tesla’s autonomous-driving business also received some support from updated Robotaxi data. More detailed descriptions of reported incidents in Austin became available on August 27, with the published material showing no serious crashes attributed to driverless Robotaxis, although the available sample remains limited.

Tesla targets $361.50 after reclaiming key support

Tesla stock followed both scenarios outlined in the previous analysis. After breaking below $351.25, the price fell toward $342, confirming the bearish setup, but then recovered quickly and moved back above $351.25.

The rebound above this level puts the bullish case back in focus. Buyers are now likely to attempt a move toward the 50-day SMA near $361.50.

A decisive break and sustained move above the 50-day SMA would strengthen the recovery and open the way toward the medium-term target at $373, where an unfilled post-earnings gap remains.

Tesla recovery now needs technical confirmation

Tesla’s fundamental backdrop remains centered largely on Optimus and the autonomous-driving business, both of which continue to support investor interest in the stock.

For the recovery to extend, however, buyers still need technical confirmation. Holding above $351.25 keeps the advantage with the bulls, while a break above the 50-day SMA would provide a stronger signal in favor of a move toward $373.
