Highlights

  • Shares of Dutch Bros fell 3.6% to $38.6, trading below key moving averages with sellers dominant.
  • Technical indicators such as MACD, ADX, RSI, and BBP reveal a strongly oversold state and ongoing downside pressure.
  • Dutch Bros stock is projected to fluctuate between $36.31 and $40.89 over the next five trading days, with a 74% probability of a further decline.
Anton Kharitonov, expert at Traders Union, views the current situation around Dutch Bros as a clear continuation of a bearish trend. He notes that technical weakness is pronounced, with successive closes well below major averages and all momentum signals flashing sell. The absence of supportive news flow exacerbates the negative sentiment, removing any fundamental counterweights to the relentless selling. Kharitonov warns that a breach below $36.31 could trigger sharper declines, and sees little to justify optimism unless significant reversal signals emerge. "A sustained lack of positive drivers and deeply oversold conditions warn investors to remain cautious — further downside is highly likely unless a material catalyst appears," he states.
Viktoras Karapetjanc, expert at Traders Union, maintains that Dutch Bros’ recent decline presents a potential recovery scenario. He points to the deeply oversold readings, suggesting that downside exhaustion may create attractive entry points for forward-looking investors. Despite the lack of news drivers, Karapetjanc believes that market volatility within the $36.31–$40.89 range allows for tactical upside setups, especially if bullish sentiment returns. He emphasizes that the market continues to offer promising structural opportunities. "If the price rebounds above $40.89, I expect the bullish structure to reassert itself and unlock significant growth potential," he affirms.
Parshwa Turakhiya, analyst, observes that Dutch Bros has seen aggressive selling with volatility high and sentiment deeply negative. He sees technical exhaustion emerging as short-term indicators are now extremely oversold, hinting at the possibility of a relief bounce or breakout play. Turakhiya notes that traders may exploit intraday ranges, but must remain nimble given still-dominant bearish signals. "Short-term opportunities may arise on volatility spikes, but I advise staying capital-protective until a clearer momentum reversal shapes up," he says.

Sustained downside as moving averages and oversold indicators align

Dutch Bros is currently trading well below its 20-day, 50-day, and 200-day moving averages ($46.33, $54.57, and $56.65, respectively), confirming that sellers are in control across all timeframes. The near-term ceiling sits at $39.52, aligning with today’s low, while the immediate floor is projected at $36.31; the prevailing bearish alignment between the 50-day and 200-day moving averages further underlines pressure on the stock. Momentum indicators reinforce the negative tone, with both the MACD and the Average Directional Index (ADX) issuing sell signals, and the Relative Strength Index (RSI) deeply oversold at 24.01. The Stochastic RSI and Commodity Channel Index (CCI) are also in oversold territory, suggesting downside exhaustion is building, while Bull/Bear Power (BBP) at -3.3 reveals sellers remain dominant at the intraday level and signals an oversold state. Dutch Bros recently declined $1.44, or 3.6%, now trading at $38.6 after opening with an upside gap of $0.46 (1.15%) and sitting near today’s low; intraday volatility stands at 2.56%. These deeply negative momentum signals and the sustained intraday selling suggest continued downward pressure after the open.

Earlier, analysts noted that Dutch Bros stock remained entrenched in a bearish technical setup, with downside risks dominating the outlook. The latest analysis strengthens this view by highlighting sustained negative momentum, and traders should now monitor for a confirmed breakdown below $36.31 as a signal of deeper downside risk.
