Tesla eyes $383 as FSD expansion and Optimus progress keep momentum intact

Tesla is moving into a part of the rally where expectations are beginning to run ahead of confirmed results. The next few sessions will show whether investors are still willing to price in a more aggressive growth path.

The Czech Republic has granted conditional approval to Tesla's Full Self-Driving software, reversing the country's initially cautious stance after receiving more details about safety and system controls. Tesla said it expects to launch FSD soon in the Czech Republic. The Netherlands, Slovenia and Estonia have already approved the safety pack.

Updates on Optimus Gen 3 are being developed in conjunction. Chinese media reports that Tesla teams are conducting supplier audits in the cities of Ningbo, Hangzhou and Shanghai, evaluating suppliers such as Tuopu Group, Sanhua Intelligent Controls and Joyson Electronics as the automaker gets its next generation of humanoid robot ready for production.

More good news for Tesla Energy also arrived. Nvidia announced that the company's battery energy storage system was selected as one of the initial partners to receive certification from Nvidia's new program, which is called the DSX Ready program for AI factories.

$383 becomes the next resistance for Tesla

The setup highlighted earlier played out as expected. Tesla stayed above its short-term trendline and went on to reach the $375 target.

The next resistance sits around $383. If buyers clear that level and hold above it, the rally could gain another leg, with $390 becoming the next resistance to watch.

The picture would change on a sustained move below the $370–368 support zone. Losing that area would weaken the current setup and could open the door to a deeper correction toward $355.

Tesla narrative broadens beyond electric vehicles

The most recent catalysts further reflect a trend underway in the valuation of Tesla. European FSD expansion, efforts to scale Optimus production, and the electric business's entrance into AI infrastructure represent factors likely to support the investment case apart from vehicle sales.

But the challenge is that most of the potential upside remains tied to what could happen next rather than to businesses already operating at meaningful scale. For Tesla to justify another re-rating, it will need to turn these projects into commercially viable products that are deployed and produced at scale, rather than simply announcing the next big initiative.
