Further downside likely as consolidation dominates near support

For the upcoming sessions, the anticipated trading range is between $4.55 and $5.25, representing a typical volatility band relative to current levels. The likelihood of a further downward move is very high, while an upward breakout is seen as very unlikely. Baseline expectations are for consolidation within this corridor. A move above the $5.39 resistance could open the way for a bullish scenario, whereas a breakdown below $4.55 support would reinforce the bearish momentum.

Anton Kharitonov, expert at Traders Union, sees Bakkt (BKKT) as facing persistent selling pressure with all key technical signals pointing to further weakness. He notes that the stock remains below major moving averages, and critical indicators continue to confirm the bearish setup. The base case is for consolidation between $4.55 and $5.25 with a strong bias to the downside. "Until Bakkt can break above the $5.39 resistance, I remain cautious and expect further declines," he says.

Earlier, analysts noted that Bakkt was exhibiting ongoing technical weakness, with downside risks dominating the outlook. The current analysis reinforces this bearish view with updated momentum signals, highlighting $4.55 as a critical support level for traders to monitor in the near term.
