Yi He, co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Binance, remains one of the most influential women in global crypto in 2025. As head of Binance’s marketing, branding, and institutional strategy, she played a key role in maintaining Binance’s dominance during a regulatory shake-up in 2023–2024. She also leads Binance Labs, the firm’s $9 billion investment arm, which in 2025 has expanded support for over 250 early-stage Web3 startups globally. Yi oversees Binance’s branding across 180+ markets and its 150 million users.
Yi began her career in media and founded a prominent Chinese digital community before co-founding OKCoin and later Binance with Changpeng Zhao (CZ) in 2017. She holds a degree in economics and is also credited with shaping Binance’s global communications and compliance-first PR approach after CZ’s resignation in 2023. In 2024, she became one of the first women in crypto to appear on multiple “Most Influential in Blockchain” lists. Yi continues to steer Binance through its transition to a regulated, multi-hub exchange infrastructure across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
