His career in finance began at Drexel Burnham Lambert, where he quickly rose to the position of Vice President and Head Gold Trader. He later joined Goldman Sachs, leading its Gold Trading desk and managing the U.S. Equities division's Industrial/Basic Materials Group. Adami’s media career took off in 2007 with Fast Money, and he has since co-founded Risk Reversal Media, which produces financial podcasts like On The Tape. In addition to his media work, Adami is currently the Director of Advisory Advocacy at Private Advisor Group, a firm managing billions in assets.
