Supporting communities in need

According to information published on the broker’s website, the initiative officially began on February 25, 2025, when FBS and SUKA Society launched the first monthly food packing event. This effort ensures that unaccompanied refugee minors receive essential nutrition throughout Ramadan.

Planned Activities:

Mid-March: Distribution of Ramadan gift packs for refugee minors and Muslim foster families.

March 3–21: Food deliveries to government shelters for survivors of human trafficking.

March 26: The second food packing event to provide additional assistance.

April 9 & 12: Hari Raya celebrations for undocumented and refugee children.

These initiatives align with FBS’s mission to assist communities in need and create a lasting impact beyond financial services.

SUKA Society, a Malaysian non-profit organization dedicated to empowering marginalized communities, expressed gratitude for FBS’s generosity.

“Thanks to FBS’s generosity, we will be able to bring joy and relief to those in need, including 45 refugee children without parents, 16 foster refugee families, and 100 survivors of human trafficking. Ramadan is a time of hope and generosity, and FBS’s support will provide much-needed comfort and dignity to our beneficiaries,” said Anderson Selvasegaram, Executive Director of SUKA Society.

Beyond financial contributions, FBS actively participated in aid distribution efforts. Volunteers from the company worked alongside SUKA Society members to organize food supplies and coordinate deliveries, ensuring efficient distribution to those in need.

Today, alongside SUKA Society volunteers, we worked together to organize essential aid, ensuring that those in need receive basic necessities efficiently. It is inspiring to see the impact of collective effort in making a difference,” shared Aizzat Arfa, FBS Official Representative.
