The Vantage Foundation and the Banking Academy of Vietnam have announced the launch of a nationwide program aimed at integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into the country’s financial sector. The program, in partnership with leading universities in Vietnam, has gathered more than 1,500 educators and students.
The event took place from March 12 to 14 in Hanoi, at the campus of the Banking Academy of Vietnam.
According to Vantage, the session on March 14 attracted 500 students in the hall and 1,000 online participants. The participants were divided into two teams: one using AI for market data analysis and the other working without AI.
Both teams used the same data and worked simultaneously, with results displayed in real-time. The event discussed key topics such as AI-based analytics, predictive modeling, and the visualization of financial data.
These technologies are helping financial institutions improve their approach to interpreting market data and making strategic decisions.
A central element of the initiative was the Training-of-Trainers (ToT) program, designed to enhance educators’ skills in financial analysis using AI. On March 12, a session for educators was held, attended by over 250 professors, both in-person and online.
Among the participants were representatives from leading universities in Vietnam, including the Dean and professors from Can Tho University.
The program is aimed at strengthening the role of AI in the financial sector.
Integrating AI into financial analysis and education will help enhance the qualifications of both students and educators, bringing long-term benefits to the development of the entire industry.
