Binance announced the launch of bStocks, a feature allowing users to hold and trade fully-backed, tokenized U.S. securities as BEP-20 tokens directly within compatible blockchain wallets. This integration enables 24/7 trading of select U.S. stock exposure through the Binance platform.
Binance has introduced bStocks, a new feature that offers users access to fully-backed, tokenized U.S. securities represented as BEP-20 tokens on the BNB Chain. According to the official announcement, bStocks are issued by BTech Holdings Limited and each token is backed 1:1 by an underlying U.S. stock held at a regulated custodian, with regulatory approval from the ADGM Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The launch enables 24/7 trading of select U.S. stock exposure through Binance, fractional ownership starting from $5, and the ability for users to self-custody tokens in compatible blockchain wallets. The platform supports instant, fee-free conversion between underlying equities and bStocks, automated on-chain processing of dividends and stock splits, and temporary zero maker fees on initial trading pairs. The service is not available in the United States or to U.S. persons, and access may be restricted based on jurisdiction.
