FundedNext launches 50K instant futures account

FundedNext has launched the third drop in its FundedNext Labs series, marking the program’s first release for futures traders. FNL:003 offers a 50K instant account with no evaluation phase, giving traders access to a FundedNext Account from their first trade for a one-time fee of $149.99.

Unlike the previous Labs releases, FNL:003 applies the firm’s limited-run testing format to a different market and account structure. The model combines immediate access with a set of trading and payout rules that determine how traders manage losses and qualify for rewards.

FNL:003 trading conditions

FundedNext Labs is where the firm tests new ideas for a limited window before deciding whether they graduate into the standard lineup. The first two drops were shaped around CFD conditions. FNL:003 moves the experiment into futures, and it does so through an instant account rather than a challenge. Instead of passing an evaluation to prove they are ready, traders buy the account and begin trading right away. Because there is no challenge phase in between, every rule that governs a funded account applies from the first trading day.

What sets FNL:003 apart is the set of conditions that come with it, and several speak directly to how futures traders manage risk. There is no profit target, so a trader only needs to build past the minimum threshold to request a payout rather than trade toward a fixed goal. The drawdown is measured at the end of the day rather than intraday, so the loss limit trails against each day's closing balance instead of tightening on every swing while a position is still open, which leaves more room to work a trade through a volatile session. Reaching the daily loss limit does not hard breach the account; it acts as a stop for the day, so a trader who has a rough session can return the next day rather than starting over. And the account pays a 90% Reward Share from the very first cycle.

How performance rewards work

Payouts are handled through the Performance Reward system. To request a reward, traders must clear a $2,100 buffer and meet the 20% Perpetual Consistency Rule for the current cycle. Once both conditions are met, they can withdraw between $800 and $1,200.

Under the consistency rule, a trader’s best day cannot account for more than 20% of the total profit generated during the cycle. The rule is designed to favor consistent performance over results driven by a single outsized trading day.

The rule is perpetual, meaning the best-day figure carries over from one cycle to the next until the trader exceeds it. As cumulative profits increase, that day represents a smaller share of the total, making the threshold progressively easier to meet.

The account runs for five payout cycles and concludes after the fifth Performance Reward. Traders receive a Champion Trader certificate with each withdrawal and a Conqueror Trader certificate upon completing the fifth cycle.

Limited to 2,000 accounts

FNL:003 is capped at 2,000 accounts, with each trader allowed to hold up to three. These accounts have a separate allocation and do not count toward FundedNext’s standard limit on active futures accounts.

Resets are not available. The agreement is signed at purchase, while identity verification must be completed before the first withdrawal. Trading is available through Tradovate and NinjaTrader, as well as TradingView via integration.

What happens after the drop

As with every FundedNext Labs release, FNL:003 is being tested as a limited-run model rather than a permanent addition to the firm’s lineup. Models that perform well may eventually move into FundedNext’s standard programs, while others remain limited experiments. Traders can register for FNL:003 and future Labs drops at fundednext.com/labs.
