Bitget announced the launch of PopDEX, a decentralized perpetual exchange that operates independently and is integrated with Bitget Wallet. According to public materials, PopDEX entered Closed Beta as an on-chain, non-custodial trading platform using a central limit order book (CLOB) market structure, and has reported over $61 million in Total Value Locked (TVL) and approximately $2 billion in cumulative trading volume during the Closed Beta period. The platform supports 66 trading pairs across a range of cryptocurrencies—covering major digital assets, RWA-related markets, and newer entries. PopDEX states it is focusing on efficiency and professional trading features, with its infrastructure targeting rapid execution and regular risk management updates. Additional initiatives include active testing, incentive campaigns, and the development of ecosystem tools with community contributions. Bitget Wallet integration is highlighted as an effort to streamline access to on-chain perpetual markets.
