Gate.io has introduced Gate Money, a new platform feature that enables users to manage, transfer, spend, and grow assets across crypto, fiat, and traditional financial products within a single account. The service, launched with an app update, consolidates trading and everyday finance functionalities.

Gate.io has formally launched Gate Money, an integrated financial services platform announced at TOKEN2049 on October 7, 2026. Accessible through the Gate App (from version 8.39.0), Gate Money consolidates the management of cryptocurrencies, fiat currencies, and traditional assets such as stocks and gold. Users are able to open personal bank accounts (initially in USD), conduct fiat and crypto transactions, utilize features such as payments via Gate Card (including compatibility with Apple Pay and Google Pay), and access conversion and yield products. Gate Money’s availability and specific features are subject to regional licensing and regulations, and it is backed by operational licenses across multiple jurisdictions and reported reserve ratios exceeding 100%.
