UZX reported that Janus Henderson and Centrifuge have launched JQQQ, a tokenized fund on the Stellar network designed to track the Nasdaq-100 Index, available to non-US professional investors with a minimum subscription of 100,000 USDC. The product leverages Nasdaq licensing and is restricted to eligible institutional participants.

Janus Henderson and Centrifuge have introduced JQQQ, a blockchain-native fund that tracks the Nasdaq-100 Index and is issued on the Stellar network under a license from Nasdaq. The fund targets non-US professional investors, with an indicated minimum subscription of approximately 100,000 USDC, and provides indirect economic exposure to the index without conveying ownership of its constituents. JQQQ operates as a segregated portfolio managed by Anemoy Asset Management Limited, with Janus Henderson Investors US LLC acting as sub-investment manager. The fund's structure enables potential integration with third-party decentralized finance applications, though such services are not directly offered by Janus Henderson. The offering is part of Janus Henderson’s broader institutional onchain strategy and is not available to U.S. persons.

UZX is an international cryptocurrency exchange launched in 2023, offering a range of trading services such as spot, futures, and options trading, as well as passive earning features like trade copying and interest on coin holdings. The platform incorporates DAO governance, supports derivative instruments, and provides a user-friendly interface for both web and mobile users in over 50 countries.
