Strong results from newcomers
According to the broker’s ranking, the top performer of the month was Strategy 1399194, which posted an impressive 29.3% gain. Despite being only 39 days old, the strategy demonstrated an aggressive yet effective approach with 155 opened positions and a maximum drawdown of 29.42%. AMarkets noted that a $1,000 investment at the start of August would have grown to $1,293 before fees. The trader charges a 50% performance fee, signaling confidence in short-term success.
Another relatively new strategy, 1396669, secured second place with an 18.1% return. With just 58 days of trading history, it maintained a modest drawdown of 14.12%, pointing to a more measured approach than the leader. A $1,000 allocation at the beginning of the month would have increased to $1,181, subject to a 25% fee.
Stability over time
Third place went to Strategy 1351806, which confirmed the value of a stable approach. Over nearly 300 days of activity, it generated a 5.8% return in August while keeping its maximum drawdown at 14.58%. A $1,000 investment would have grown to $1,058 before the trader’s 20% commission.
Strategy 1391525 ranked fourth, delivering a 3.5% return in August. In its 100-day history, the trader opened 71 positions with a drawdown of 16.48%, reflecting a moderate risk profile. A $1,000 deposit would have become $1,035 before the 30% fee.
Conservative performer
Rounding out the top five, Strategy 1277479 posted a 1.3% gain for the month. While modest, its 538-day track record and very low 9.27% drawdown highlight a highly conservative trading style. A $1,000 allocation would have risen to $1,013, with the lowest fee of just 10%.
Takeaways for investors
AMarkets noted that despite the wide range of returns, all five strategies shared a common focus on controlled drawdowns and transparent risk management. The broker stressed that clients can choose between aggressive strategies delivering rapid gains and cautious options aimed at gradual growth.
By presenting a broad spectrum of approaches—from high-yield to conservative—AMarkets underscored the flexibility of Copy Trading as a tool for diversification and strengthening investor positions in volatile markets.
The broker also reminded clients that reduced crypto trading commissions remain available until September 30.
