BCC Invest review: Firm supports national student competition to boost financial innovation — BCC Invest backs student innovation.

BCC Invest has expanded its work with Kazakhstan’s educational sector by serving as the general partner of a national competition for students in technical and economic fields. Held in November, the event sought to stimulate innovation among university researchers and support scientific projects aimed at strengthening the country’s financial and banking systems.

The competition was organized by the Association of Banks of Kazakhstan, the State Credit Bureau, Nazarbayev University and the Kazakh British Technical University. Students from 40 universities across the country participated, presenting research projects that reflected current industry trends and long term needs in the financial sector.

Experts from BCC Invest played a central role on the judging panel. On November 11, Vice Chairman of the Management Board Alibek Urazakov and Director of Analytics and Research Sultan Zhumagali evaluated student work in Almaty. On November 13, Urazakov was joined by analyst Aldiyar Anuarbekov for the second round of judging in Astana.

Internship certificates awarded to top participants

As part of its partnership, BCC Invest awarded six internship certificates to standout students, giving them an opportunity to join the firm in 2026. Jury members presented the certificates during the final stage of the competition.Urazakov noted that the initiative highlights the firm’s commitment to developing future talent within Kazakhstan’s financial industry. He stated that the country has a strong base of young specialists who can contribute to the expansion and modernization of the national financial system. The company intends to support that development by offering practical experience to promising candidates.
